Mercury VEW40A 40-Inch 3D Water Vapor Smart Fireplace Cassette

Fire, Reimagined Through Water

The Litedeer Homes Mercury VEW40A 40-inch Water Vapor Fireplace Cassette transforms water and light into an ultra-realistic 3D flame experience—bringing movement, atmosphere, and architectural beauty into spaces where a traditional fireplace may not be practical.

Using fine water mist and advanced LED lighting, the Mercury VEW40 creates dimensional flames that rise, move, and glow with natural depth.

No gas. No smoke. No ash. No chimney. No combustion.

Its open four-sided see-through design allows the flame to be viewed from multiple directions, making it an ideal architectural fireplace solution for custom homes, feature walls, room dividers, kitchen islands, hospitality interiors, luxury residences, restaurants, hotels, and commercial projects.

Designed Around the Architecture

Designed to complement the architecture — not compete with it.

The Litedeer Homes Mercury Water Vapor Fireplace Cassette features a clean, minimalist profile designed to integrate naturally into:

• Custom millwork
• Bookmatched stone surrounds
• Feature walls
• Room dividers
• Fireplace islands
• Custom cabinetry
• Open-concept interiors
• Hospitality and commercial spaces

Unlike a traditional enclosed firebox, the open water-vapor flame creates a striking focal point without adding unnecessary visual weight to the architecture.

The result is a fireplace that feels integrated into the space rather than added to it.

Two Water Supply Options

Every project is different. That is why the Mercury VEW40 is available in both Automatic Fill and Manual Fill configurations.

VEW40A – Automatic Fill Water Vapor Fireplace

Direct-Plumb Ready | Continuous Water Supply | Project-Friendly Installation

The VEW40A connects directly to a dedicated water supply, allowing the fireplace to automatically maintain its operating water level.

Recommended for:

• New construction
• Custom homes
• Luxury residences
• Hotels and resorts
• Restaurants
• Commercial interiors
• Builder and developer projects

For projects where plumbing can be planned during construction, the automatic-fill configuration provides the most convenient long-term installation.

VEW40M – Manual Fill Water Vapor Fireplace

No Plumbing Required | Easy Refill | Renovation Friendly

No dedicated water line? No problem.

The VEW40M uses a refillable water reservoir, making it ideal for projects where adding plumbing is difficult or unnecessary.

Recommended for:

• Existing homes
• Renovations
• Condominiums
• Apartments
• Retrofit projects
• Smaller commercial installations

Simply refill the reservoir as required and enjoy the same realistic Mercury 3D water vapor flame experience.

What Makes the Mercury VEW40 Different

Ultra-Realistic 3D Water Vapor Flames

Fine water mist combined with LED illumination produces lifelike flame movement with visible depth and dimension.

Unlike flat-screen or projected flame effects, Mercury creates a physical mist-based flame effect that moves naturally through the air.

Four-Sided See-Through Fireplace Design

The open architectural cassette allows the flame to be experienced from multiple viewing angles.

This makes the VEW40 especially suitable as a:

• See-through fireplace
• Room divider fireplace
• Fireplace island
• Open-concept fireplace
• Four-sided fireplace feature

Cool-to-Touch Water Vapor Flame

The flame effect is created using water mist and light rather than combustion.

There is no real fire, smoke, ash, soot, or burning fuel associated with the water-vapor flame itself.

Smart App & Remote Control

Control fireplace functions conveniently through the compatible mobile app or included remote control.

Adjust settings including:

• Flame appearance
• Flame brightness
• Operating functions
• Timer settings

Multi-Style Flame Experience

Customize the visual atmosphere to complement different interiors, occasions, moods, and seasons.

Flexible Built-In Installation

The Mercury VEW40 is designed for custom architectural applications including recessed installations, room dividers, millwork, cabinetry, islands, feature walls, stone surrounds, and commercial interior features.

Designed for Architects, Designers & Builders

Mercury was developed to give design professionals greater freedom in how and where a fireplace can be incorporated into a space.

Instead of designing the room around a conventional firebox, the Mercury cassette allows the fireplace to become part of the architectural concept.

Water replaces combustion.
Light creates movement.
Architecture defines the experience.

Whether incorporated beneath a dramatic stone feature, within custom cabinetry, or between two open living areas, Mercury gives designers greater freedom to create a fireplace around the project—not force the project around the fireplace.
