After a significant amount of research, I ended up choosing this fireplace due to the realistic looking flames and crackling sounds. I contacted customer service a few times and they always responded promptly and were helpful. I am looking forward to enjoying this fireplace year-round here in Florida - without the heat function :) Check out the photos showing a few of the color settings.

Nicest electric fireplace I've ever had, worth the money. Very realistic and the crackling sound is great. The app is awesome and easy to use , lots of color selections and rotating colors too! Dogs love it too! ( note dog photo bomb)
I bought an insert ZEF38VC-33 to replace my old electric fireplace. I kept my old mantle and made the adaptation for my new litedeer insert. This is a good fit an a good quality price.
It looks real.
